Bread Stuffing

   Monday November 7, 2016 - Bread Stuffing - You're Gonna Love It!!
   1 Loaf of Bread (Sandwich wheat or white will result in a moist recipe)
   1/2 cup diced onion
   1/2 cup diced celery
   1/2 stick of butter
   1 egg
   1/3 cup water
   1/3 cup chicken broth
   Poultry Seasoning
1. Cut the slices of bread into cubes (16 cubes per slice)
2. In a skillet melt the butter and saute the celery and onions
3. In a large mixing bowl, add the bread crumbs and the melted butter with celery and onions
4. In the same mixing bowl, add the egg, water, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning
5. Use your hands to mix and fold the ingredients together
6. Once everything is mixed together, place in an oven safe pan (or use as stuffing for turkey)
7a. If placing in pan, bake in the oven at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees
7b. If stuffing a turkey, roast turkey according to the guidlines for the size turkey used.  Center of stuffing should be allowed to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Recipe makes approximately 9 servings.  Multiply all ingredients accordingly to increase number of servings. 4-5x recipe for stuffing 16-22lb turkey
